Search & chat
With Search & Chat, you can find any information that was discussed in seconds — no lengthy scrolling required. Simply ask the Kuno app a question about your recordings and notes, and you'll get a clear answer with a link to the relevant moment.

Search & Chat turns your Kuno recordings into a searchable memory. Instead of listening back through individual recordings, you ask the Kuno app directly — and find the moment, detail, or decision you’re looking for in seconds.
Using full-text search
Search covers the title, notes, and the complete transcript of every recording.
- Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the Kuno app.
- Enter a term, such as a name, keyword, or date.
- Tap a result to jump straight to the matching moment in the transcript.
Matches in the transcript are highlighted in color, so you can immediately see the context.
Chatting with your recordings
If you’re not looking for a word but for an answer, use chat.
- Open a recording and tap Chat.
- Ask your question in plain language, for example: “What action items were assigned to me?”, “What price was mentioned?”, or “Summarize the decisions that were made.”
- Every answer includes a link to the source moment. Tap it to verify the statement in the original.
Setting the search scope
You decide what chat and search apply to:
- Single recording – only the current conversation.
- Folder – all recordings from a project or client.
- Entire library – your complete collection, for example for the question “When did we last talk about the budget?”
Note on reliability: Search & Chat is a helpful tool, not a legally reliable record. AI answers can shorten nuance. The original recording always remains authoritative — verify important details via the included source link.
Privacy and EU hosting
Search and chat are processed entirely on EU servers, in line with GDPR. Your recordings, notes, and chat history remain your data: they are not shared with third parties and are not used to train third-party AI models. Your chat history is private and visible only to you.
Please remember that the underlying recordings still require the consent of everyone involved in the conversation (Section 201 StGB). Search & Chat doesn’t change that — it simply makes lawfully created recordings more usable.
