2. General principles
We process personal data of our users only insofar as necessary to provide a functional website together with our content and services. Processing occurs either with the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or where a legal basis under Art. 6(1)(b), (c) or (f) GDPR applies.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (AWS Amplify Hosting) in the Frankfurt am Main region (eu-central-1). When the site is accessed, server log files are processed temporarily (truncated IP address, timestamp, browser, operating system, referrer URL). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and stable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted or anonymised within 14 days at the latest.
4. Cookies and consent banner
We use technically necessary cookies to remember your cookie preferences. Analytics or marketing cookies are loaded only after your explicit consent pursuant to § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner.
5. Waitlist (email signup via Brevo)
When you join our waitlist, we process your email address to inform you about the launch of Kuno AI. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use a double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation email.
Email delivery is handled by Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. You may withdraw consent at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting hello@heykuno.com.
6. Contact
If you contact us by email we process the data you submit in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Requests are kept for as long as necessary, and at most for the periods required by commercial and tax law.
7. Fonts (Google Fonts)
We currently load the “Inter” typeface from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Your IP address is transmitted to Google in this process. We plan to self-host the font shortly to avoid this transmission.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),

- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR),
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
