Action items
Kuno automatically detects the next steps in every recording and collects them as action items in one place. That way nothing from a conversation gets lost, and you stay on top of things without having to take notes.

After every meeting, the same question comes up: what still needs to be done? Kuno answers it for you. As soon as a recording is transcribed, the Kuno app detects concrete next steps in the conversation and turns them into action items — so you can focus on listening instead of taking notes.
How action items are created
Once your Kuno device has transferred a recording to the app over Bluetooth and the app has processed it, Kuno scans the transcript for phrases that point to an action — things like “I’ll send you the documents by Friday” or “We’ll sort that out with the supplier.” Every detected action item appears in the Action items section and includes a link to the exact moment in the recording.
Processing your recordings and detecting action items happens exclusively on servers within the EU. Your content is never used to train AI models.
Managing action items
- Open the Action items section in the Kuno app.
- Tap the checkbox on the left to mark an action item as done.
- Tap an action item to edit the text or add a due date.
- Use + New action item to manually add an entry that wasn’t part of the conversation.
- Use the filters at the top to sort by recording, date, or open items.
Context you can trace at any time
Every automatically detected action item comes with a timestamp. Tap it, and Kuno jumps straight to the matching moment in the recording — so you can immediately see the “why” behind the “what.” Completed action items stay in place, but you can hide them or delete them in bulk.
Controlling automatic detection
Don’t want action items generated for certain recordings? Turn the feature off directly within that recording, or disable it altogether under Settings › Action items. Action items that have already been created are not affected.
Before recording a conversation with other people, get their consent. Recording non-public spoken conversations without consent is a criminal offense under Section 201 of the German Criminal Code (StGB). The red recording LED on the Kuno device makes it visible to everyone present that a recording is in progress.
