Cancel subscription
You can cancel your Kuno subscription yourself at any time — no notice period, no reason required, just a few taps in the Kuno app. Your access stays fully active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

You can end your Kuno subscription at any time. Cancelling is simple — you don’t need to give a reason or observe a long notice period. The only thing that matters is cancelling wherever you originally subscribed.
Cancel directly in the Kuno app
If you subscribed directly through Kuno (by credit card or SEPA direct debit):
- Open the Kuno app and tap Profile.
- Select Account & Billing.
- Tap Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation. You’ll receive a confirmation by email.
Cancel through the App Store or Google Play
If you subscribed through your Apple or Google account, you need to cancel there too — cancelling through the Kuno app isn’t technically possible in that case.
- Apple (App Store): Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Kuno → Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kuno → Cancel.
What happens after you cancel
Your access doesn’t end immediately: you keep using all Plus features until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. After that, your account automatically switches to the free Basic version. Recordings and transcripts you’ve already created remain yours.
Your Kuno device belongs to you permanently. It stays paired with the app over Bluetooth and keeps recording — only subscription-based features like advanced AI summaries stop once the period ends.
Your data stays protected: Even after cancelling, your recordings continue to be processed exclusively in the EU and are never used to train AI models. If you’d like your data fully deleted, email us at [email protected].
Withdrawal, deadlines, and refunds
If you’ve just signed up for a new subscription, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you withdraw within that period, we’ll refund any amount already paid.
For monthly billing, there’s no minimum term — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. For annual billing, the subscription runs until the end of the paid year; outside the withdrawal period, no pro-rated refund is provided.
Regardless of your subscription, the Kuno device is covered by the statutory 2-year warranty.
