Kuno consists of the Kuno device (a one-time purchase) and the Kuno app with a subscription for transcription and AI features. Here's an overview of the available plans, how billing works, and your rights.
At a glance
- You pay for the Kuno device once; app features run on a monthly or annual subscription.
- Three plans: Free (basic), Pro (full feature set), and Team (multiple users, admin controls).
- All prices include 19% German VAT; invoices with your VAT ID are available in your account.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription yourself at any time in the app under Account & Billing.
- 14-day right of withdrawal on subscriptions and online device purchases, plus a 2-year statutory warranty on the device.
- Your recordings stay hosted in the EU and GDPR-compliant, regardless of which plan you choose.
Kuno consists of two parts: the Kuno device — the compact recorder with a visible recording LED and a pairing button — which you buy once, and the Kuno app, which pairs with the device over Bluetooth and transcribes and summarizes your recordings. App features run on a subscription.
Plans at a glance
- Free — included with the device. Record, pair, and view transcripts from the last 30 days.
- Pro — monthly or annual. Unlimited history, AI summaries, export (PDF, Markdown, DOCX), and model selection.
- Team — per user, per month. Everything in Pro, plus central user management, consolidated billing, and shared templates.

Subscribing or changing your plan
- Open the Kuno app and tap Account & Billing.
- Select Change plan and choose monthly or annual billing.
- Add your payment details — this is handled securely by our payment provider.
- For invoices with a VAT ID, enter it under Billing details; all receipts are available in the same section at any time.
Switching from monthly to annual billing (or from Pro to Team) is billed on a pro-rated basis.
Cancelling and your right of withdrawal
You can end your subscription at any time under Account & Billing > Cancel subscription. It stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then your account automatically reverts to Free. Your recordings are preserved; you can export older transcripts before switching plans.
Your rights: Online purchases come with a 14-day right of withdrawal — for both the subscription and any device ordered through our shop. The device also carries a 2-year statutory warranty. Your voice recordings are hosted exclusively in the EU and processed in compliance with GDPR — on every plan, including Free.
