With the Slack and Teams integration, you can share your Kuno notes directly in the channel your team already works in — GDPR-compliant and processed entirely within the EU. Connect your workspace once, then send summaries with a single tap.

If your team tracks meeting outcomes in Slack or Microsoft Teams, you no longer need to copy and paste your Kuno notes. Connect your workspace once with the Kuno app, then share finished summaries directly from the note view.
What gets shared
Kuno posts a note summary together with a link to the full note in the channel you choose. The underlying audio recording from your Kuno device never leaves the app — it’s never transferred to Slack or Teams. That way, colleagues see the key points in the channel, while the original recording stays protected within Kuno’s EU infrastructure.
Connecting Slack
- In the Kuno app, open Settings → Integrations.
- Next to Slack, tap Connect.
- Sign in and choose the workspace you want to authorize.
- Confirm the permissions. You’ll be returned to the Kuno app automatically.
To post to a private channel, first add the Kuno app to that channel manually in Slack.
Connecting Microsoft Teams
- Open Settings → Integrations → Teams.
- Tap Connect and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
- Choose the team and channel to use as the default destination.
Sharing a note
- Open the note you want in the Kuno app.
- Tap Share and select Slack or Teams.
- Choose the destination channel and confirm.
A note on consent and privacy: Before sharing, check that everyone in the recording gave their consent — confidential spoken conversations are protected in Germany under Section 201 StGB. Shared summaries are visible to everyone in the channel. Only share in channels whose membership is appropriate for the content.
Privacy and EU processing
The integration is GDPR-compliant: only the text you actively choose to share is transferred. Kuno processes your content exclusively within the EU and never trains AI models on your data. You can revoke access anytime under Settings → Integrations; existing Slack or Teams messages are unaffected and must be deleted there separately.
Troubleshooting
- “Share” button missing: Make sure the integration is connected and the Kuno app has access to the channel.
- Session expired: Disconnect and reconnect the integration.
- Private channel not selectable: Add the Kuno app to the channel manually in Slack.
