Drive & OneDrive

Connect Kuno to Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive to automatically back up recordings, transcripts, and summaries to your own cloud storage. The connection is end-to-end encrypted, and processing stays entirely within the EU.

With the Drive and OneDrive integration, Kuno automatically backs up your recordings to your own cloud storage. That means your conversations, transcripts, and summaries are always available outside the Kuno app too — handy for filing, sharing with your team, or long-term archiving.

Setting up the connection

Open the Kuno app and go to Settings > Integrations.
Select Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.
Tap Connect. You’ll be redirected to the official Google or Microsoft sign-in page.
Sign in and confirm access to the Kuno folder.
Choose whether to sync only new recordings, or also your existing archive.

Once confirmed, Kuno automatically creates a folder called Kuno in your storage. Every new recording is synced there shortly after processing.

What gets synced

For each recording, Kuno exports by default:

Audio – the original recording (audio file)
Transcript – as TXT and Markdown
Summary – as PDF and Markdown

In the integration settings, you can turn individual formats on or off — for example, if you’d rather not store audio files in the cloud.

Folder structure

Kuno creates a dedicated subfolder for each recording, named by date and title:

This keeps related files bundled together and easy to find.

Encryption and EU data protection

The connection runs exclusively through Google’s and Microsoft’s official, OAuth-based interfaces. Kuno never stores your password, and transfers are encrypted (TLS). File creation and all AI processing happen on EU servers; your content is never used to train models.

A note on storage location: Once files are in your Google Drive or OneDrive account, the storage locations and privacy terms of your cloud provider apply — these may be outside the EU. Check your account’s region if EU data residency is a requirement for you.

Disconnecting

You can end the connection anytime under Settings > Integrations by tapping Disconnect. Files that have already been synced remain in your cloud; future recordings will no longer be transferred.
