Connect your calendar

Connect your calendar to Kuno so the app knows about your upcoming meetings in advance and automatically matches each recording to the right event — no more sorting and naming afterward.

At a glance

  • Kuno supports Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 / Outlook; Apple iCloud Calendar isn't directly supported yet.
  • Connect it in the Kuno app under Settings > Integrations in just a few steps.
  • Events usually appear within a few minutes; canceled events are hidden automatically.
  • Kuno only reads event data (title, time, participants) — never emails or attachments.
  • All calendar data is processed in compliance with EU regulations and is never used to train AI models.
  • You can disconnect the integration at any time in Settings.

Once you connect your calendar to Kuno, the app recognizes your upcoming meetings and automatically matches each recording to the right event. Titles, times, and participants are ready to go — no manual cleanup needed.

Which calendars are supported?

Kuno connects with:

  • Google Calendar (personal and Google Workspace accounts)
  • Microsoft 365 / Outlook (business and personal accounts)

Apple iCloud Calendar isn’t directly supported at the moment. If your Apple calendar is subscribed to within Google or Outlook, it will appear there automatically.

Connecting your calendar

  1. Open the Kuno app and tap Settings.
  2. Select Integrations > Calendar.
  3. Tap Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 / Outlook.
  4. Sign in to your provider in the window that opens and confirm the requested read permission.
  5. You’ll be returned to Kuno automatically. Your upcoming events usually appear within a few minutes.

If you have multiple calendars in one account (for example, “Personal” and “Team”), you can choose under Integrations > Calendar which ones should be visible in Kuno. Canceled events are hidden automatically.

What Kuno sees — and what it doesn’t

Kuno only reads your event data: title, time range, location, and participant list. Emails, attachments, and files are never accessed. All calendar data is processed exclusively on EU servers (GDPR-compliant) and is never used to train AI models. The recording itself only ever starts when you press the record button on the Kuno device and the recording LED lights up — the calendar never triggers a recording automatically.

Please keep in mind that secretly recording a confidential conversation is a criminal offense in Germany under Section 201 of the German Criminal Code (StGB). Always inform the people you’re talking with before recording.

Disconnecting

To remove the connection, go to Settings > Integrations > Calendar and tap Disconnect. Recordings that have already been matched will keep their assigned event.

Connection issues?

  • Events not showing up? Check that the right calendar is enabled under Integrations > Calendar, and give it a few minutes.
  • Sign-in failing? For business accounts, your IT admin may need to approve the connection.
