Fireflies describes all four as including unlimited transcription and unlimited AI summaries. “Unlimited” does not erase other boundaries: storage, AI credits, meeting length, downloads, integrations and advanced functions vary by tier.
What the free plan really covers
Free is a credible evaluation plan because the core capture and summary proposition is available without a paid seat. Fireflies listed 400 minutes of storage per team, 20 AI credits, support for major meeting platforms, file upload and access to desktop, mobile and Chrome products.
The storage allowance is the practical constraint. It measures retained meeting content, not simply how many meetings you run. A team can delete old material, but that changes the value of having a searchable history. When Pro is the rational upgrade

The official comparison positioned Enterprise for larger organizations and listed SSO and SCIM, audit logs, custom retention, private storage, transcript-and-summary-only mode, a super-admin role and dedicated account management. The displayed annual rate was $39 per seat per month, though procurement terms and volume arrangements can affect a final quote.
Choose this tier because a documented control is required, not because “enterprise” sounds safer. Security, privacy and legal teams should verify the exact configuration, data flows and contract rather than infer compliance from a feature badge.
Calculate the real annual cost
For a simple estimate, multiply the annual-billing monthly rate by paid seats and 12. That makes five Pro seats $600 per year and five Business seats $1,140 per year before tax, assuming every seat is paid for the full year and list pricing applies. Those totals are calculations from the official displayed rates, not vendor quotes.
Then add internal costs: configuration, retention review, integrations, training and quality checking. Compare annual and monthly terms using realistic headcount. A cheaper annual unit price can still waste money if seats change frequently or the evaluation is incomplete.
Check capture method and consent
Fireflies can join online meetings as an assistant, and its pricing page also lists Chrome, desktop and mobile options. Platform support does not authorize recording.
